We met while Jeri was on a mission trip to Canada and the rest is history as they say. A boy from Beamsville (Ontario) and a girl from Cheyenne. We were married May 20, 2000 we have enjoyed the many joys of marriage. One of our greatest joys came July 1, 2005 with the birth of our daughter Hannah. For us the story continues with a mission. Starting in 2006 we will serve as missionaries in Alotau, Papua New Guinea.

Taste Adventures

Hannah is busy putting her two new front teeth to work. Her favorite foods include hamburgers, french fries, and Dr. Pepper. Actually her taste buds have only been introduced to rice cereal, carrots, potatoes, and green beans. Her favorite is rice cereal.

This last week Hannah was contacted by the Guiness corporation. She is the youngest child be be on a 9th grade reading level. Here she is reading Anthrolpology for the Christian Witness. She feels like the book had some strong points, but remains concerned about the relationship between form and function.
Last week mommy took Hannah to infant story time at the library. Hannah loved the parachute and even made a few new friends. Actually her favorite book is the Touch and Feel Farm. Thanks Philip and Andrea.

Here is Hannah eating!

Getting ready for a walk. Hannah loves to be outside to see all the trees and plants. She enjoys it even more now that mommy and daddy put her in the Sungli so she can look to the front. Before now she has been stuck looking at whatever shirt daddy was wearing.

Since daddy is working at home for the next few months, Hannah sometimes comes into the office to do some work also. She is currently working as a toy tester. Here she is working on her current project. Thank you Hannah for taking time out of your busy day for a picture.
By the way, she recommends the stacking cups. Fun to look at, touch, and eat!

A couple weeks ago Jeri got her diploma in the mail. Since she did not walk at graduation they had to send it to her. Jeri is now the household Master of Education.

Over the last few weeks we have been fed very well by the members here at church. We have been spending about 3 nights a with different members who have hosted us for meals. It has been a great time to get to know people better and to share fellowship.

Deep Thoughts

To those who wish to be enlightened I invite you to read on ...

"For the lives of those who have relatives are moored like ships which, though they are tossed by the waves, are firmly secured by many anchors" Hierocles

"The secret of a good sermon is to have a good begining and a good ending, then having the two as close together as possible" George Burns

Dedicated to Dad Ford: "we awaken to an "opportunity" clock and not an "alarm" clock. The opportunity clock rings every day and winners always answer it, mediocre individuals periodically answer it, and losers never do awaken to the opportunity." Zig Ziglar

"I bet you're so excited to start giving her solids." Teri Armes

"We have to go get Jason's 2 front teeth now." Teri Armes [sorry, Teri, this is too much fun!]

"Kelsey must take after Philip because I got my teeth at 4 months old." Andrea Bullock

"I'm really excited to start Kelsey on new taste adventures!" Andrea Bullock

Beware! Any email you send Craig or Jeri may just find itself posted on future edition of deep thoughts :)

Hello Technology

Ladies and Gentlemen, let us first begin by thanking those who have brought us to the place we are - Josh and Julie Marcum. We have been so intimidated by technology (especially something as complicated as a blog). HOWEVER, after reading their blog we clicked on 'start a blog' and - voila - we are computer and blog literate.

For those of you who are reading this for the first time we will be using this blog to update everyone on the life and times of Craig, Jeri, and Hannah.

Stay tuned for some exciting reads ...
