We met while Jeri was on a mission trip to Canada and the rest is history as they say. A boy from Beamsville (Ontario) and a girl from Cheyenne. We were married May 20, 2000 we have enjoyed the many joys of marriage. One of our greatest joys came July 1, 2005 with the birth of our daughter Hannah. For us the story continues with a mission. Starting in 2006 we will serve as missionaries in Alotau, Papua New Guinea.

Visiting Supporting Churches

Jeri and I wanted to take a moment and introduce you to a few of the congregations we visited in March and April.

Our first stop was a Wednesday evening service with at the Beatrice Church of Christ (Beatrice, NE). I taught Bible class that night for the congregation of about 30 members. During my senior year at York I preached for the congregation. The church is numerically small, but has a passionate heart. We are so thankful for their involvement and support.

On Sunday morning I was able to preach and teach class at the Cheyenne Church of Christ. Jeri's family are members at this congregation and her dad serves as one of the elders. The church currently is in a transition of their own as they prepare a to build a new building. We feel so blessed by their involvement in our work.

The following Sunday Jeri and I traveled to Lander, WY. Mike Christensen, who has been to PNG, is the evangelist at the congregation. We were most impressed with the congregation's involvement in so many different mission works. They definitely are an encouragement to us.

By Wednesday night we ended up at the Mountain View church in Colorado Springs, CO. Teri and Jason attend this congregation and have been a vital contact for us. The Mountain View church supports several different works and willingly decided to be a part of our ministry.

As the next Sunday rolled around we were welcomed at the Beamsville Church of Christ. Beamsville is Craig's home congregation. I was able to teach Bible class in front of many ex-PNG missionaries. Beamsville is heavily involved in the work in PNG because they already support Ruth Zimmerman. Beamsville also serves as a contact congregation for Canadian churches.

Several other churches are involved in supporting us, but we either were unable to make a visit or we already visited them over the Christmas break. Some of the other churches in Ontario that have supported us finanically include: Newmarket Church of Christ, Pinehill Church of Christ, Pine Orchard Church of Christ, Meaford Church of Christ, and Vandeleur Church of Christ. Other churches from the States that are supporting us include: Cordell Church of Christ (OK), Riverside Church of Christ (AR), Champions Church of Christ (TX), Van Church of Christ (TX).

In addition to all these churches there are many, many individuals who are supporting us. We are so thankful for each person who is supporting us.

As we finish up our trip visiting our supporting congregations we want you to know that we loved the time we spent with each of you. We pray our partnership will continue for a very long time.

Family Time in Beamsville

Craig, Grandpa Whitfield, and Craig's neice, Eowyn, stop for a photo. They all have the same smile!!

Daddy is so proud of his daughter for the books she is choosing to read with her Grandpa! It is entitled Natural Church Development.

Hannah's first Easter Sunday!

Grandma enjoyed having her two granddaughters, Eowyn and Hannah, visit.

Hannah liked playing with her Uncle Trevor. She even got to visit him in his condo in downtown Toronto. He lives on the 21st floor!

Family Time in Cheyenne

Hannah enjoyed playing with her cousin, Kelsey, and Uncle Philip. Kelsey is exactly one week younger than Hannah. They had a great time together. The two have entirely different personalities. As their 12-year-old Aunt Jennifer put it, "Kelsey is the polite one and Hannah is the wild one."

Grandma and Grandpa Bullock sure enjoyed their time with Hannah.

Does this look like a proud Grandpa, or what?? (Or maybe he's having flashbacks of the days when his daughters were babies!)

Aunt Teri and Uncle Jason came from Colorado Springs to spend some time with us - well, with Hannah. :)

Three Great Grandpas!

Four generations of Whitfields!

Four generations of Fords!

Four generations of Bullocks!

Hannah enjoyed meeting her 3 great grandpas while we were on the road. Great Grandpa Whitfield is from Sault St. Marie, Ontario. Great Grandpa Ford is from Meaford, Ontario. Great Grandpa Bullock is from Mooreland, Oklahoma.

Our Roaming Gnome

Since our last blog we have travelled to three different states (Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming) and two different countries(take a wild guess). We have now been on the road for exactly one month. We are pleased to report that Hannah is a wonderful traveler. During our voyages we drove about 1500 miles and Hannah talked or slept through most of our driving. On each of our flights Hannah politely greeted the other passengers by welcoming them onboard with a princess-like wave and a big smile. Below are some of her favorite stops.

On one occassion Jeri and Hannah were able to sneek up on a full size animal with big horns :). Actualy this is a stop at Cabela's in Nebraska.

Hannah and daddy are enjoying the view at Sinks Canyon in Lander, Wyoming. The church in Lander is one of the congregations that is supporting our work in New Guinea. I must admit I enjoy having supporting congregations in beautiful areas.

After several flights Hannah quickly became a seasoned traveler. Here she is modeling how one ought to safely ride in an airport train. It is quite important to hold on at all times. Even if you are in a stroller.

As we have time we will continue to update you on our travels. We plan to show off pictures of Hannah with some of her family.

Thanks for all your continued prayers.
