We met while Jeri was on a mission trip to Canada and the rest is history as they say. A boy from Beamsville (Ontario) and a girl from Cheyenne. We were married May 20, 2000 we have enjoyed the many joys of marriage. One of our greatest joys came July 1, 2005 with the birth of our daughter Hannah. For us the story continues with a mission. Starting in 2006 we will serve as missionaries in Alotau, Papua New Guinea.

One month old!

Here is Hannah with my sister, Teri, her husband, Jason, and their baby, Kaitlyn. They live in Colorado Springs. Hannah loves being the big cousin!

Here is what Caleb looks like most of the time.

He does wake up for a few hours a day though.
It is hard to believe that he is already one month old!!!

We have really enjoyed our time in the Wyoming area so far. Craig preached in Cheyenne on August 5. It was good to see my home congregation again. We drove to Lander, WY for church on August 12. The Lander Church of Christ has been incredibly supportive of our work in PNG. It was such an encouragement to meet our wonderful supporters face to face again. Since we were just within a few hours drive to Yellowstone from Lander, we decided to make the trek up there for a short visit. I grew up in Wyoming and had never been. It was Craig's first time as well. My parents and two younger sisters joined us for the adventure. We made a whirlwind 2 1/2 day trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. It was so beautiful. But we were exhausted from driving over 1200 miles in just a few days. When we went to leave Yellowstone, we found out that the exit we needed to take was closed due to a forest fire. That forced us to take another exit out of the park, which added an extra 4 hours of driving. We were thankful for the things we saw that we would have missed had we taken the shorter route though! Hannah loved finding buffalo at the park, especially. She and Caleb were excellent travelers, thankfully! (Speaking of Caleb, it is so hard to believe that he is almost one month old already. In his short life he has been to Ontario (Canada!), New York, Maryland, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.)
Following our trip to Yellowstone we headed to Colorado Springs where my twin sister lives. My siblings and Grandpa were able to make it for a couple of days together. Craig preached on Aug. 19 in Colorado Springs to a warm and welcoming congregation. We are now staying with my sister for a few days before we head back to Cheyenne to stay with my parents again. We will visit a church in Nebraska in a couple of weeks. Things are busy, but we feel very blessed by our time here. We will be on our way to Houston in about 2 weeks. We are looking forward to seeing our church family there.
